I am interested in the ghosts and shadows created by official mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion. The kind of void created by what is not mentioned or represented- by deliberate exclusions. I am exploring the notion of ghost as an absence caught in a paradoxical presence. This series of digital prints are made from animation stills. They are abstract images of shadows. The final result is sugestive of figures and movements. These were installed in the FOFA Gallery vitrine space. The flat monochromatic images are open to multiple interpertations. Yet at the same time they are not ‘eye catching‘ and can be forogtten and overlooked by the passersby.
